Ingredients
- â…“ cup quinoa
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup almond or soy milk
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup toasted wheat or rice flakes
- 2 kiwifruits, sliced
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the quinoa – In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the quinoa and salt, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add chia seeds and milk – Stir in the chia seeds and almond (or soy) milk. Let the mixture cool slightly.
Step 3
Toast the wheat flakes – While the quinoa cooks, toast the wheat flakes in a frying pan over medium heat for 4–5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.
Step 4
Prepare the kiwi – Slice the kiwifruits and set them aside.
Step 5
Assemble the bowls – Fluff the quinoa-chia mixture and divide it into 2–3 bowls. Top each bowl with kiwi slices and toasted wheat flakes.
Step 6
Serve warm. A refreshing, nutrient-dense pudding ideal for light mornings or post-workout fuel.
