Ingredients
- ¼ cup almond butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 tbsp pure maple syrup (or 4–5 drops stevia)
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup seeds of choice
- 2–3 tsp water
- ¼ tsp salt
- Freeze/Chill time
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup (or stevia), rolled oats, seeds, water, and salt.
Step 2
Mix well until it forms a dough.
Step 3
Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands and place them on a serving plate.
Step 4
Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until firm.
Step 5
Optional: Top with coconut flakes or chopped nuts.
Step 6
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. My grand uncle insists that I bring these bite-sized treats whenever I visit him at the assisted-care home.
